Think Outside the MBA to Meet the Challenges of a Global Economy
In an increasingly competitive business world, leaders of all types of organizations need to be able to work across borders, disciplines, and issues to strategize effectively, anticipate risk, and make decisions with agility.
Like a global MBA program, the online Master of Global Business Administration (GBA) from The Fletcher School at Tufts University blends the management knowledge of an MBA with an understanding of the political, economic, and legal factors that affect how businesses operate. You will graduate armed with the tools to ensure your organization is ready to handle complex risks and opportunities.
This program can be completed in 24 months on a part-time schedule (recommended for full-time working professionals) and 16 months on a full-time schedule.
Core courses span four main disciplines, and you can further specialize with elective courses. Business foundations courses cover MBA competencies, and you round out your global perspective with courses in global context, international law, and analytical tools.
You will attend two in-person immersions: one on the Tufts University campus in the Boston area and one in a relevant international location.
The on-campus immersion kicks off the capstone lab, a culminating project in which you will apply your global MBA skills by solving a global business challenge for a real organization.
Developed using research on how students learn best in an online environment, our active online campus is designed to foster lasting connections with peers and faculty. As a student in the program, you will:
Develop specialized skills during highly interactive live online classes, informed by multimedia course content.
Grow under the guidance of Fletcher faculty, who are Fortune 500 advisers, published authors, chief economists, and law firm partners.
Receive career support and join the powerful Fletcher network of investors, ambassadors, nonprofit directors, and military leaders.
