Leonora Polonsky is an accomplished strategic brand builder and trusted advisor to senior level business leaders. She is recognized by many Fortune 100 business leaders as a driver of global business growth through marketing and brand-building across a wide range of industries. As CEO and Founder of Leonora Polonsky & Associates (LPA), a brand strategy consulting practice that focuses on solving strategic challenges and building organizational capability, she has led initiatives for C-level clients across 30+ business verticals including CPG, electronics, biotech, fashion, financial services, automotive, industrial mining, and health care (medical devices, health insurance, pharma, hospital supply).
Leonora is a veteran of the Procter & Gamble Company, serving in various roles of increasing responsibility throughout her career, culminating as General Manager, Global Marketing Knowledge & Innovation, reporting to P&G’s Global Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, she served as a Strategic Advisor to leaders of P&G’s 22 “Billion Dollar Brands” where she played a pivotal advisory role on marquee brand turnarounds including Pampers, Crest, and Herbal Essence. She also led P&G’s marketing / digital innovation and built mastery among P&G’s 4,000 Marketers around the world. Leonora was recognized as a “Harley Procter Marketer”, the highest distinction awarded to only a dozen marketers in P&G history.
Leonora intimately understands the intricacies of the ever-changing business landscape, generational consumer differences and their effects on brand meaning, and the digital environment. She has driven topline growth through marketing excellence on over 50 Brands across B2C and B2B, products and services, and companies ranging from Fortune 100 to small/mid-sized and private equity owned.
She has served on the Mind of the Market Advisory Council at Harvard University and has been a trustee of the Marketing Science Institute. Leonora is a graduate of the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
