Background
Carolyn F. Gideon is an assistant professor of international communication and technology policy at Fletcher. Her research focus is on policy, access, and industry structure issues of information and communication technology.
Previously, she was a fellow at both the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and the Center for Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School. She was also a research affiliate with the MIT Program on Internet and Telecoms Convergence.
Before that, Gideon served as assistant vice president of Parker/Hunter Incorporated (a financial services firm). She was also a manager at Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust, and a consultant with Strategic Planning Associates (now Mercer Management Consulting).
