Background
Yakov Feygin is the Associate Director of the Future of Capitalism Program at the Berggruen Insititute, a Los Angeles based think tank and academic institute. He holds a Ph.D in economic history from the University of Pennsylvania and has experience working as a consultant with multiple governments and private firms. His book, Building a Ruin: The International Politics of Soviet Economic Reform is forthcoming with Harvard University Press.
