Background
Ian Diamond is a London-based visiting lecturer at the Fletcher School. His career has been in management consultancy, specializing in strategy and organization, and he has led numerous large-scale assignments for international companies on a global basis. He was a partner in Arthur D. Little, 1993–2001, and a VP in Charles River Associates, 2001–2002. He then moved to OC&C Consultancy before founding his own business, Ian Diamond Consulting Ltd., in 2002.
Since starting his own business he has focused on management education, with a particular bias for the skills needed within professional service firms. He now designs and delivers education programs for a range of companies—typically those with a consultant-type operation. His programs cover project management and leadership themes.
As well as having a broad private client base, he is associated with a number of other business schools. He teaches on the MBA programs at HHL in Leipzig and is program director and facilitator for executive education at London Business School. He has guest lectured on the Masters Intrapreneurship and Management of Innovation Projects at HEC, Liège, and for the MBA program at HULT university in London and Boston.
