Our Response

At Tufts University and The Fletcher School, we remain fully engaged in our mission of education, research, scholarship, and service, and we are working to ensure our online program remains operational during this time.

Here are some of the ways we are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Online Education: Our GBA program is positioned to support student learning and ensure academic continuity no matter where students are located. Our program remains open, with weekly live classes held in Zoom classrooms. Students can meet with peers and professors in breakout sessions, and faculty in these programs are trained to teach in the online environment.
  • Digital Campus: The digital campus for our program is designed to foster connection and collaboration among all students regardless of location. There are no barriers to discussion, and our students remain active in their course work.
  • Ongoing Support Services: Our admissions and student support teams remain active and available. You can reach out at any time to speak with a counselor on either of these teams who are at the ready to answer any questions you may have.
  • In-Person Experiences: While hands-on, in-person learning is a cornerstone of our GBA program, we are evaluating in-person experiences on an as-needed basis and ready to provide alternate and meaningful educational opportunities in their place. For example, while we recently cancelled our in-person immersion in Mexico City, we are replacing it with a timely and immersive class that examines how various areas– businesses, economies, legal structures, health institutions – are grappling with the rapidly-changing consequences of COVID-19.
